Blueberry French Toast

Ingredients:

  • 1 Tablespoon Cream Cheese Softened
  • 2 Tablespoons Blueberries or Blueberry Pie Filling
  • 2 Slices Lewis Bake Shop Honey Wheat Bread
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 Tablespoon Milk
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Vanilla
  • Cooking Spray or Butter

Directions:

  1. Mash and mix blueberries into the softened cream cheese and spread onto one slice of bread. Top with another bread slice.
  2. In a shallow bowl, beat together the egg, milk and vanilla. Dip each side of the sandwich into the mixture.
  3. Coat the inside of each side of the pie iron with cooking spray or melted butter and place French toast sandwich inside.
  4. Close the iron and cook each side for a few minutes until bread is golden brown.

Spaghetti Sandwich

Ingredients:

  • 2 Slices Lewis Bake Shop Italian Bread
  • 1 Can of Spaghetti with Sauce (or you can make your own)
  • 2 Tablespoons Shredded Parmesan or Mozzarella Cheese
  • Garlic Powder or Italian Seasoning
  • Butter or Margarine

Directions:

  1. Spread butter or margarine on one side of each slice of bread and sprinkle with garlic powder or Italian seasoning.
  2. Place each slice buttered side down in each side of the pie iron.
  3. Add about 1/3 cup of spaghetti with sauce to one of the bread slices and top with shredded cheese.
  4. Close the pie iron and cook each side for a few minutes, until bread is golden brown and cheese is melted.

S’more Sandwich

Ingredients:

  • 2 Slices Lewis Bake Shop Butter Bread
  • 2 Tablespoons Cocoa Hazelnut Spread
  • 1/2 Graham Cracker, crumbled
  • 1/4 Cup Mini Marshmallows
  • Cooking Spray or Butter

Directions:

  1. Coat each side of the pie iron with cooking spray or melted butter.
  2. Spread cocoa hazelnut spread on one side of one slice of bread and place in one side of the pie iron with hazelnut spread facing up.
  3. Sprinkle with crumbled graham cracker and top with mini marshmallows.
  4. Place the remaining slice of bread in the other side of the pie iron, and close the pie iron.
  5. Cook each side for a minute or two, or until marshmallows are melted.
